After pinning Otis, Rusev launched a relentless assault: powerbombing Akira Tozawa onto his teammate and slamming Otis shoulder-first into two unforgiving steel ring posts. Otis was helped to the back and hasn’t appeared on television since.

Recent insider reports from reputable sources such as WrestleVotes and Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select have revealed that Otis, known for his charismatic presence and athletic abilities in the ring, has been removed from WWE’s internal roster due to an injury he is currently dealing with. Concerns have been raised among fans and fellow wrestlers regarding his recovery and future appearances. Despite his absence, the WWE community remains hopeful for his return to action, as Otis has been a fan favorite with his unique blend of strength and humor in the squared circle. Sources close to Otis revealed that he underwent arthroscopic elbow surgery—a procedure often used to identify or treat joint damage.
Ross Sapp reported:
“Currently, it seems he shouldn’t be out for too long, but we all know how unpredictable injuries can be. It’s tough, and things can change in an instant.”
